How to Detox After a Party?
“Been there, done that”, you will say. We know the feeling too, and so we bring to you the best detox routines for all you party animals out there:
The golden rule – Drink Water and a lot of it.
Stretch out your body - Some of you will be dreading it, but it’s more than necessary to get back to your daily routine. Start with the basics and trust us, in the end it will feel like a therapy.
Shake it up: - Drink banana milkshake in the morning. A rich source in electrolytes, magnesium and potassium, the fruit will help put you towards a calmer front and soothe you.
Skip caffeine – A light cup of coffee will be okay but dark coffee can dehydrate your body. Even if you are feeling extremely tired and need a cup of joy to wake you up, STAY AWAY.
Get back to veggies - Green veggies, whole grains, healthy fats will help you to get back on track. Keep away from enormous amounts and fatty foods for 2-3 days.
Sleep - If possible, try to get to bed a little early in a dark room without any disturbances and wake up at your normal time. Do it at least for 3 days by shooting 8 – 10 hours of sleep.
